Early Life & Childhood

Born in Los Angeles, California, Chance Perdomo relocated to Southampton, England with his mother during his childhood. He held dual citizenship in both Britain and America and inherited his Latino roots from his mother.

He completed his education at Redbridge Community School and later, at Peter Symonds College in Winchester, where he was chosen as the president of the student union for the sixth form.

After completing his education, Perdomo initially planned to study Law but ultimately chose to pursue a career in acting. He used the money he earned from working at a shoe shop and a cinema to move to London, where he joined the National Youth Theatre and received training at the Identity School of Acting.

Before securing the role of Ambrose Spellman in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Chance Perdomo had previously appeared in multiple TV shows and short films. He went on to portray the character for four seasons, from 2018 to 2020.

In 2018, he received a BAFTA nomination for his portrayal of Jerome Rogers, a self-employed delivery person who took his own life at the age of 20 in 2016 due to the burden of two traffic tickets.
