The weddings from Season 4 of “Love Is Blind” came out on Netflix on Friday, but the reunion special isn’t coming out until Sunday night, which is a bit later than fans expected.

Netflix has been talking about the Seattle couples’ reunion for weeks and has been very clear that there won’t be any spoilers before the special airs at 8 p.m. ET on the platform.

The special, which would be hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, would show who is still married, what happened behind the scenes, and the truth about some of the most talked-about scenes of the season. Unfortunately for Netflix, the reunion special is probably going to be remembered for starting a few minutes late, which messed up “Succession” fans’ plans for Sunday night TV.

Love Is Blind

At 8:02 p.m., Netflix tweeted that the special would start in 15 minutes.

At 8:49 p.m., there was still a waiting message on the Netflix app that said,

It’s almost time! The live event will start soon.

But the “elevator music” they were playing was pretty good.

Netflix’s new live event feature has been a hit as of late. Chris Rock’s live stand-up special “Selective Outrage” aired on March 4. In it, he talked about the first time Will Smith hit him at the Oscars. The Hollywood Reporter says that the special was one of the top 10 streams in the U.S.

Sunday night, Twitter users quickly sent out funny jokes about how the streamer didn’t show the “Love Is Blind” reunion special live at 8 p.m. as promised.

I know Brett is pissed we ain't starting on time. That man gets serious QUICK.

At 9:29 p.m. ET, Netflix finally apologized to its Twitter users and thanked “Love Is Blind” fans for being patient.

To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned. We're filming it now and we'll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thank you and…
