Ariana Grande took to the Coachella stage as the Sunday headliner on April 14, bringing out a number of special guests — including NSYNC, Nicki Minaj, Diddy and Mase — during her hour-and-a-half-long set.

Before her performance even began, Grande had the fest Ariana-fied: An art installation featuring a larger-than-life Starbucks sculpture and seven giant pink diamond rings appeared on the festival grounds, the latter a nod to her single "7 Rings." Fans could even order an Acai-ana Grande bowl to eat in the food court area of the event.

The first special guest of the evening was boy band NSYNC, with members Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick taking the stage to perform alongside Grande. (Unfortunately, Justin Timberlake, who is finishing up his current tour, was not apart of the show.) Together, they performed "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored" to the delight of fans, with Grande sampling the group's song "It Makes Me Ill."

"Coachella I've been rehearsing my whole mother f--king life for this moment, make some noise for NSYNC," Grande shouted during her set, before she and the group performed NSYNC's hit "Tearin' Up My Heart" with perfectly synchronized choreography. At one point, Fatone even picked Grande up and ran her down the catwalk during the epic performance.

The next surprise guest was Minaj. The pair performed their collaborations "Side to Side" and "Bang Bang," with the two wearing color-coordinated outfits featuring the same deep purple. Unfortunately, Minaj seemed to struggle with in-ear or timing difficulties during a point in her verse on "Bang Bang."

Grande spared no expense when it came to the production of her show and even had fireworks midway through her set, as well as a string section for "Breathin'," one of her singles off Sweetener.

The pop star later paid tribute to Mac Miller, Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls with a performance of "Mo Money Mo Problems" featuring special guests Diddy and Mase.

Grande closed out the last night of Weekend 1 with "thank you, next" to a crowd that shouted every lyric back to her.
